- The minutes of the previous meeting (AGM) on 23/07/2019 were read out by our Secretary, Trisha. These were proposed by Linda Remmer and seconded by Maggie Frost.
- The new Fixture Booklets were distributed and a quick review was given to explain all the information now included.
- Ideas for the Christmas Draw entertainment were discussed. In addition to the usual draw it was agreed to have bingo, music (which we will organise ourselves to save costs) and a ‘Christmas Hat Competition’ as the Christmas Jumper competition had been so successful last year. If anyone has any other ideas please let Kay or Trisha know. Teams are asked to please encourage everyone to take part.
- The league fixtures will now finish in March 2020 but the cup matches will run until the end of May 2020.
- A reminder that substitutes can be made in the individual cups but not of whole teams. So, up to 2 players in the triples or 1 in the pairs/mixed pairs/Mr & Mrs could be swapped.
- Please review the rules around chalking and checking at the individual cup matches and encourage everyone to have a go.
- The competition online entry forms will be available 2 weeks before the date in the fixture book. This date is the ‘Deadline’ day for entries and monies to be transferred.
- The League would like to offer huge thanks to Jane & Gill again for all their hard work in organising the fixtures and arranging the printing of the fixtures booklet.
- The next meeting will be on 01/10/2019 when the Xmas Raffle books will be given out. Due to the reduction in teams, each player will be asked to sell 6 books and an additional 10 books will be given to each team in a hope to reduce the lost funding. Monies to be paid over by 11/11/2019.

- Again a request that more thought be given to the league night raffle prizes – Less prizes of higher quality please.
