Ladies Pairs<\/span><\/p>\n Competition will be held at SCC on 17 October and there are 48 pairs entered. The draw will take place at 8pm sharp whether you are there or not. Captains Cup<\/span><\/p>\n Competition will be held at Windermere on 31 October. Teams are reminded to bring \u00a33 raffle prize.<\/p>\n Christmas events<\/span><\/p>\n Names and monies for the children\u2019s Xmas party were handed in; there are 46 children attending. There is a lot of work involved in preparing for this so no names will be accepted after this meeting<\/b>. Xmas draw books were given out \u2013 5 books per registered player. Any unsold tickets must be purchased by the player. Please encourage your players to sell as many as possible; it is the only fundraising we do to help buy all the trophies. If you need additional tickets see Secretary Tricia Smith; she will have them with her at the Pairs, Captains Cup, and next meeting.<\/p>\n Chairperson\u2019s AOB<\/span><\/p>\n For the Triples and Ladies Pairs please bring along any supporters that you can to chalk and check.<\/p>\n Carol Burrell\u2019s mobile number is wrong on the committee list. \nWhen you arrive you will find a sign-in desk in the lobby. Once both of you have arrived you will draw a number between 1 and 4, to determine which board you\u2019ll play on. There will be 3 boards upstairs and 1 board downstairs; once we are left with the last 2 pairs on each board, the remaining games will be played upstairs. It was confirmed that sandwiches have been ordered.<\/p>\n
\nMaggie Frost asked if a new player who has just joined can put names in for the party. She was told that the names must be in tonight so to find out this evening and let us know.<\/p>\n
