We are greatly saddened to hear of the sudden death of our former Vice-President, Kathy McKenna. Kathy played at Westcliff British Legion for many years, and even after retiring from playing, she remained a great supporter of the league and closely followed the results via the website.
Among her many achievements in the league Kathy was twice runner-up in the Secretary’s Cup, and she also won the trophy for highest checkout.
Our condolences to her family; she will be greatly missed by many.
Kathy’s funeral will take place on Thursday 25 September at Southend Crematorium (Sutton Road) at 1.10pm. This will be followed by a burial service at Hall Road Rochford at 2pm. All are welcome.
